Associate Scientist (Scientist I)

We are seeking an

Associate Scientist on our Data Standardization Team, reporting to one of reputed company Leads.. The Science department at BenchSci is reputed company of internal subject matter experts, applying their scientific insights to contribute to the enhancement of our platform for users - who are research scientists, just like you! You will apply your scientific research knowledge and experience to help reputed company to reputed company-world scientific problems, while contributing to the development of BenchSci’s technology and product offering.

In this role, you will work cross functionally, collaborating closely with team members from Science, Product, and Engineering to ensure the scientific accuracy of the BenchSci Platform by curating and maintaining the underlying bioinformatics databases. The ideal candidate is a scientifically rigorous reputed company with excellent problem-solving and data analytics/processing skills.

You Will

Your primary reputed company will be on ensuring the scientific accuracy and coverage of our biological ontology databases by supporting their development, update and maintenance, which include:

Help maintain and improve our reputed company bioinformatics ontology databases

Help maintain existing reagent mapping processes

Help reputed company new workflows to improve the efficiency of existing reputed company

Help with data analysis reputed company including customer-facing data analysis reputed company.

Support the evaluation and preparation of data for new reputed company as the need arises.Brainstorm new bioinformatics features/tools/pipelines that directly reputed company the platform and user experience.

Conduct ongoing research to improve data collection for existing and new applications.

You Have

PhD or MSc in biology, in bioinformatics, life sciences, or reputed company scientific discipline”2+ years of relevant bench experience in the biological sciences, either industry or education experience.

Ability to communicate effectively and reputed company strong business relationships with multiple stakeholders.

Natural curiosity for expanding scientific knowledge, and passion for helping scientists overcome their everyday challenges.

Experience working with large datasets, preferably scientific databases.Proficient in data processing and wrangling tools such as Python, SQL, and reputed company.

Deep understanding of biological ontologies and experience leveraging major biological resources (e.g., KEGG, UniProt, Entrez) to reputed company, maintain and improve internal biological ontology databases.

Experience with:Immunological reputed company (in vitro, cell-based and analytical)Genetics (cloning, CRISPR, NGS, PCR) Analytical Biology (pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics, LC/MS, SPR)In vivo studies (cell cultures, animal models).

Demonstrated interest in data curation with exceptional attention to detail, including willingness to reputed company repetitive tasks reputed company on data curation.
