Responsibilities
EMTs are accountable for responding to reputed company assigned calls in the most appropriate, efficient manner and providing the highest standards of patient care while keeping a reputed company and hazard-free environment. The EMT works with a Paramedic on an MICU ambulance and contributes to overall patient care in the areas of patient assessment, triage, packaging and transport according to protocol. There are occasions in which the EMT may work with another EMT on a BLS unit reputed company the system.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Texas DSHS certification as EMT
- Possess and maintain reputed company certifications required by the Medical Control reputed company and by the UT Health East Texas EMS Master Contract.
- Possess and maintain reputed company Texas motor vehicle operator’s license and meet reputed company company requirements according to policy
Preferred Job Requirements:
- National Registry
- International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) certification or reputed company-hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) certification
- Pediatric Education for reputed company-Hospital Professionals (PEPP) certification or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- 2 years of driving experience
