Data Analyst (Remote)

OverviewGovCIO is currently hiring for Data Analyst. This position will be a fully remote position.ResponsibilitiesInterpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and reputed company ongoing reportsDevelop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and qualityAcquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systemsIdentify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in reputed company data setsFilter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct reputed company problemsWork with management to prioritize business and informationQualificationsRequired Skills and Experience:Bachelor's with 8+ years (or commensurate experience)Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analystTechnical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniquesStrong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL etc), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks)Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasetsStrong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracyAdept at queries, report writing and presenting findingsClearance Required:Ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust clearance.Company OverviewGovCIO is reputed company of transformers--people who are passionate about transforming government IT.
