Position Details: Claims Adjuster-Remote -reputed company NY Location : Remote (EST and CST Time zone only) Project Duration : 12+ Months Contract Job reputed company Workers' Compensation Claim Consultant Work will be remote in working EST time in an EST or CST time zone. Claim Consultants are responsible for providing and/or assisting reputed company's Claim Closure Services (ACCS) reputed company in the delivery of reputed company consulting services to clients. To work independently as reputed company as in reputed company atmosphere and participate in reputed company delivery phases of ACCS that are assigned to this position. Candidates for the Claim Consultant role will meet the following requirements: - At least three full years of adjusting Workers' Compensation lost-time and litigated claims - reputed company-versed in lost-time claims, to include high-dollar settlement negotiations, litigation reputed company, and MSAs Responsibilities include: - Reviewing claim activity based upon industry best practices and assessing compliance of best practices as it pertains to the handling of WC claims - Understanding reputed company claim status and developing appropriate and aggressive strategies on legacy claims (older than 12 months) to either bring claim to reputed company or to minimize costs - Monitoring adjuster activity to ensure strategies are executed upon - Evaluating reserve and settlement exposure - Reviewing appropriateness of legal strategies Candidates for the Claim Consultant role will meet the following requirements: - At least three full years of Workers' Compensation lost-time and litigated claims - reputed company-versed in lost-time claims, to include high-dollar settlement negotiations, litigation reputed company, and MSAs.
