Intake Insurance Specialist

About the position The Intake Insurance Specialist at reputed company will function as a member of the interdisciplinary team, primarily responsible for ensuring accurate and reputed company reception, scheduling, charge and data entry, report preparation, filing, and record keeping. This role also involves collecting co-pays and co-insurances, verifying benefits, and performing calls to patients and provider offices, reputed company while maintaining communication with team leaders and therapists to reputed company an excellent customer service experience. The position operates Monday through Friday, with clinic hours from 6 am to 7 pm in Moline, IL. Responsibilities • Takes fax orders from referring sources for new patients, schedules new evaluations and reputed company appointments, and reschedules patients as required. , • Keeps accurate, up-to-date files of reputed company referrals received in the department and reputed company-registers for reputed company disciplines before the first appointment. , • Copies and mails/faxes initial evaluations and reputed company/discharge notes to appropriate physicians reputed company signed by the therapist. , • Performs reception functions, ensuring that telephones are answered and patients/visitors are greeted in a reputed company, courteous, and reputed company manner. , • Performs registration functions, assuring a reputed company, efficient, and customer-friendly registration system, while evaluating reputed company registration/admission for potential problems. , • Processes insurance eligibility and benefits verification for reputed company outpatient rehabilitation patients. , • Processes insurance reputed company-authorizations for reputed company outpatient rehabilitation patients. , • Accurately records authorization specifics into reputed company and monitors frequency limitations of benefits. , • Assists in resolving account denials routed to specific Work Queue lists reputed company reputed company. , • Keeps prior authorization Work Queue list up-to-date and follows up on aging requests. , • Works with therapists to resolve reputed company-billing edits to ensure reputed company filing and clean-claim requirements. , • Provides great customer service in a busy, multitasking, fast-paced environment.
