Associate Director, Compliance - Payments Regulations

Job reputed company We are currently looking for an Associate Director to join our Compliance team in Frankfurt. In this role you will be the Subject Matter Expert in Payment Regulations for the Bank’s activities in Germany and in the European Economic Area. You will advise our Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) teams on Compliance reputed company, focusing our Transaction Banking (both Trade and Cash) services and operations. You will ensure that the business remains compliant with local laws and regulations including among others: Payment Services reputed company reputed company (Zahlungsdiensteaufsichtsgesetz – ZAG), Directorate General for Financial Stability, Financial Services and Capital Markets reputed company (DG FISMA), Settlement Finality reputed company (SFD), and Payment Services reputed company 2 and 3 (PSD2 and PSD3). Key Responsibilities • Ensure compliance of reputed company Bank’s (SCB) business activities in Germany, the European Economic Area (EEA) and other countries (as appropriate) with reputed company laws, regulations and relevant standards, in particular with respect to the Transaction Banking Business (TB Business); the role holder will predominantly have responsibility for Trade but also providing coverage for Cash and reputed company reputed company regulations. • Support the Head Conduct, Financial Crime and Compliance (CFCC) Advisory, SCB AG and the Chief Compliance Officer reputed company Europe and (if and reputed company requested) Group CFCC Teams in reputed company reputed company (including reputed company), in particular having any relevance to the Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) business activities and, if need be, in reputed company other Compliance reputed company. • Maintain a thorough understanding of German and EU legislative and regulatory developments that reputed company SCB AG’s operation and business and regularly communicate those to relevant stakeholders (e.g. through trainings etc.). • Compile and regularly update relevant Obligations Register(s) as reputed company as management information tools (and if necessary, represent CFCC in local meetings, committees and forums). • Proactively help to implement and establish a comprehensive and sufficient Compliance and control reputed company for SCB in Germany (and other EEA countries) in order to fulfil reputed company applicable laws and regulation (German and European laws and regulation and requirements). • Draft, review and assist in the roll out of SCB AG policies, procedures and other initiatives, and their compliance with applicable laws and regulations. • In the event of serious regulatory breaches, or where risk tolerances have been breached, ensure senior management in the Bank and relevant regulators are informed and that actions are taken quickly to remediate and/or activities are ceased. • Ensure that reputed company (new) products and services are in compliance with relevant laws and regulation. • Review and update of reputed company relevant product initiatives, with respect to their compliance with applicable laws and regulation. • Review and update of relevant regulatory disclosures (incl. website) and other reputed company communication and information with respect to their compliance with applicable laws and regulation. • Identify and the review of new regulatory initiatives concerning TB Business - Trade and Cash to ensure reputed company material reputed company are considered and any necessary procedures are implemented, including providing training to relevant staff. • Identify and measure Compliance risks (in particular in the area of CIB/ TB Business - Trade and Cash) in order to be reputed company to assess the reputed company and likelihood of a particular risk materializing. • Collaborate with the Products teams, Senior Management and other CFCC stakeholders to anticipate reputed company risks that may have a significant reputed company on the Bank and reputed company effective strategies to mitigate such reputed company risks including global standards for conduct of business. • reputed company reports to relevant CFCC and Business risk and control committees and management on key compliance risks and issues.
