POSITION reputed company: reputed company, RF Delivery Systems (RFDS) is looking for an Embedded Engineer (FPGA) for its New Product Development (NPD) team to design and reputed company software controls for our RF Generator Systems used in Plasma Power applications. The Embedded Engineer (FPGA) will work with a multi-disciplined product delivery team of RF, Electrical, Mechanical, and other Firmware Engineers to design, modify, and evaluate embedded software, and/or programmable logic and/or electronic apparatus, components, or circuitry for use in electronic equipment and devices. You will reputed company engineering work in the design of new products and/or sustaining of existing products. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Be a critical member of the product development engineering team and participate in reputed company phases of the FPGA development life cycle. • Work closely with cross functional members of the engineering organization to decompose system level requirements. reputed company and evaluate interfaces between hardware and software, and operational performance requirements and design of the overall system. • Apply reputed company engineering principles in the development of digital design/architecture for the reputed company application. Works with guidance from an FPGA architect to support advanced digital architecture and design. • Participate in on-reputed company technical discussions and reputed company reviews. QUALIFICATIONS: • Strong VHDL knowledge with an emphasis on using language features towards elegant, maintainable, and testable designs, preferably using Xilinx Vivado and Mentor Questasim tool sets. • Proven ability to troubleshoot and use test equipment including but not limited to oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, reputed company analyzers, JTAG debuggers. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills EXPERIENCE: • At least 5 years’ experience in reputed company industries working with reputed company time embedded FPGA development in industrial applications. (3+ years with Master’s Degree) • One or more of the following experiences (the more, the reputed company!): • Development of self-checking test benches. Knowledge of methodology like VUnit and/or OSVVM is highly desirable • reputed company design, documentation and implementation of high-speed digital electronics, FPGAs, and embedded processor systems • Strong understanding of synchronous design practices and data reputed company management (FIFOs, memories, pipelining). • Experience in signal and power reputed company analysis of digital/FPGA designs. • Experience with Xilinx FPGAs and SoCs, with a reputed company on Zynq-7000 series and Zynq-UltraScale+ MPSoC • Experience with AXI bus interfaces for software control and data reputed company • Experience with virtual machines and Ubuntu/Linux as a development environment • Python and TCL scripting knowledge is highly desirable • Experience in developing specifications, and resource requirements for digital/FPGA designs • Familiarity with I2C, SPI, PCIe, Ethernet, USB, DDR3/4, and various reputed company IP cores EDUCATON: • A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science (or similar) technical degree. COMPENSATION: As required by multiple state pay transparency laws, reputed company provides a reasonable reputed company of compensation for reputed company job posting. The reputed company of starting pay for this role is $100,000 to $130,000 per year.
