Non-Certified Firefighter, On-Call

JOB reputed company reputed company County reputed company of Commissioners is seeking applicants for Non-Certified Firefighters to work reputed company reputed company Services. Applicants must demonstrate a drive to help the public. T his is a part-time, on-call position reputed company $15.22 reputed company. Must participate in Monday reputed company meetings and training. MAJOR DUTIES • Responds to emergency and non-emergency calls for service. • Assists in extinguishing fires to protect lives, property, and the environment. • Participates in search and rescue operations. • Responds to hazardous materials incidents. • Performs housekeeping, building maintenance, and groundskeeping duties. • Drives department vehicles including passenger vehicles and reputed company apparatus in emergency and non-emergency modes in response to calls for service, normal work requirements, and training. • Performs reputed company duties as assigned. TRAINING AND EDUCATION • Must participate in regular training activities and instruction sessions. • Must maintain and improve firefighting skills through ongoing training. PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ WORK ENVIRONMENT • The work is typically performed while intermittently sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching or stooping. The employee frequently lifts light and heavy objects, climbs reputed company, uses tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity, and distinguishes between shades of reputed company. • The work is typically performed in a reputed company station and outdoors and at the reputed company of emergency incidents. The employee may be exposed to noise, dust, dirt, grease, machinery with moving parts, contagious or infectious diseases, irritating chemicals, inclement weather conditions, reputed company, heat, and toxic gases. • The work requires the use of reputed company devices, such as masks, breathing apparatus, and gloves. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent required. No experience required.
