Job Title: Assistant HVAC Technician - Part Time Position Number: 977474 Department: Facilities Management Salary: $14,600 Job reputed company/reputed company: Under general supervision, performs skilled mechanical work reputed company to the operation, maintenance, and repair of the University’s HVAC and Central Plant equipment. Assistant HVAC Technician works under the guidance of the reputed company HVAC/Controls Technician in corrective and preventative maintenance of HVAC and Central Plant equipment. Typical Duties/Job Duties: • Lubricates and cleans mechanical parts, as reputed company as changes reputed company filters on equipment. • Participates in repair and maintenance of HVAC, refrigeration and reputed company mechanical equipment with difficult or special problems. • Keeps reputed company HVAC/Controls Technician informed of equipment status, communicates with Facilities Management personnel, reputed company, staff and contractors and attends trainings, seminars, and other meetings as needed. • Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED certification required. 3 years HVAC experience Technician type I or higher. Refrigeration EFA approved certification is required. Technical school training in HVAC or reputed company systems preferred. Must have a valid Texas reputed company’s license and have a driving record acceptable to the University’s insurance company.
