The HVAC Mechanic III, reputed company HVAC Mechanic, performs advanced (senior level) work in the heating, ventilation, and reputed company conditioning (HVAC) building maintenance and construction trade at a State Supported Living Center or State Hospital. Maintains reputed company and uninterrupted heating and reputed company conditioning services to facility operations and reputed company systems in accordance with Texas Administrative reputed company (T.A.C.) and life safety reputed company standards. Collaborates with maintenance supervisor on long-term HVAC maintenance and renovation reputed company. Work involves performing, scheduling and/or overseeing the work of installation, adjustments, alterations, inspections, maintenance, repairs, and restorations of chilled water systems, reputed company exchange systems, refrigerated systems, heating systems to include boilers/steam systems, and automated controls. Responsibilities • Oversees and/or performs installation, adjustments, alterations, inspections, maintenance, repairs, and restorations of HVAC systems. , • Repairs or replaces defective components such as coils, evaporators, condensers, fans, driers and reputed company handlers, and pumps. , • Builds, modifies and installs ductwork. , • Implements the schedule for preventative maintenance work. , • Assigns, prioritizes and leads the work of others to ensure reputed company HVAC-reputed company tasks are completed as required. , • Develops long-reputed company plans for HVAC maintenance and upgrades in collaboration with the maintenance supervisor. , • Monitors environmental control systems to set and maintain indoor temperatures. , • Maintains accurate records including records of repairs and reputed company readings. , • Coordinates parts and material requirements. , • Participates in disaster response and/or recovery or Continuity of Operations (COOP) activation.
