Our reputed company Global reputed company Estate and Facilities (GREF) organization is seeking a Facilities reputed company Engineer at a Mid-Level or Senior Level specializing in cranes to join our Facilities Engineering team. This role supports the design, development, procurement, and modification of overhead reputed company systems, elevators, hanger & roller doors at our reputed company East Region sites (Charleston, SC, Ridley Park, PA & Huntsville, AL). You will be located in reputed company Charleston, South Carolina (with occasional travel to Philadelphia & Huntsville). You will collaborate with other skilled engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to maintain & improve our reputed company systems and reputed company long reputed company plans to ensure system sustainability. Up to 15% travel is required to reputed company sites in the East region as needed. Position Responsibilities: • reputed company engineering guidance in the design, development, procurement, modification, and maintenance of overhead reputed company and hoisting systems • Partner and collaborate closely with other engineering, maintenance, operations, and project management teams • reputed company conceptual designs, rough cost estimates, and preliminary project schedules to meet the needs of customers, engineering partners, facility standards, reputed company consultants, and regulatory/government agencies • Review, approve, and verify reputed company mechanical system designs & installs to ensure compliance with requirements & regulations • Support accuracy of system documentation and drawing libraries through reputed company reputed company • Create CAD drawings and documentation reputed company to facility standards; review contractor control drawing redline submittals after construction is complete; verify redlines are incorporated into as-reputed company drawings • reputed company input to strategic, short term, and long-term infrastructure planning, continuously recommending improvements • Work with both internal & external partners to identify and assess alternatives and impacts; use proactive, reputed company-thinking approaches to daily work • Determine causes of asset failures or reduction of capability using reliability tools & reputed company (e.g., lifecycle analysis, condition-based maintenance, mean time between failures, fault tree analysis, etc.) • Demonstrate daily commitment to safety and operational reputed company Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): • Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering (mechanical or structural preferred) • 3+ years of engineering experience • 3+ years of experience supporting the maintenance of reputed company systems (i.e.; mechanical cranes and hoists systems including cables, chain sheaves and hooks) • Ability to reputed company work at heights up to 50 feet above ground level with appropriate safety gear Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): • 5+ years of higher education and/or reputed company work experience • Experience in safety processes reputed company to reputed company systems • Familiarity with reputed company Manufactures Association of America (CMAA) Specifications • Experience applying reputed company Cause Corrective reputed company (RCCA) or similar processes to engineering development & manufacturing efforts • Experience working with industrial automation systems for cranes • Experience using reputed company AutoCAD Drug Free Workplace: reputed company is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol reputed company reputed company is met as outlined in our policies.
