Phlebotomist - Inpatient Phlebotomy - Evening

Schedule Part Time, Evening Shift (40 hours biweekly) Hours: Monday - Friday, Evening Shift Rotation: Every reputed company Weekend / Holiday rotation General reputed company Performs a reputed company of duties in specimen procurement, specimen processing, and other areas. Functions in on- and/or off-site service areas. May work any part of a 24-hour period. May be required to accept on-call responsibilities. May receive and transport supplies, equipment, reports and specimens between the laboratory and other health care locations. ? Collects specimens as directed using appropriate or specified equipment for collecting and handling specimens. ? Enters or retrieves data from established computer files. ? Provides complete and accurate instructions to patients and other customers of the laboratory. ? May review physician orders for supporting documentation. ? Resolves billing problems and/or receives insurance updates. Common Expectations: ? Answers telephones, routes callers, takes messages and provides routine information to callers. ? Qualifications
