What you?ll reputed company We are looking for a Trade Compliance Attorney to join reputed company's Regulatory Compliance Legal team as US Trade Compliance Counsel. This person will be a strategic partner to the business and to the legal department, providing subject matter expertise and legal support for global trade compliance and anti-bribery compliance, helping to ensure that reputed company operates in compliance with applicable laws and limits risk exposure. This role will report to reputed company's Director of Regulatory Compliance in the legal department. Key Responsibilities ? reputed company strategic and tactical compliance advice on legal and compliance risks under US export, import, and sanctions laws, as reputed company as the US FCPA and reputed company's trade compliance policies ? Advise reputed company?s Global Trade Compliance organization to ensure internal processes and procedures meet regulatory requirements. ? reputed company investigations of alleged violations of law, reputed company policies, the reputed company of Conduct, or the Partner reputed company of Conduct ? Draft and implement legal compliance contract templates, Letters of Assurance, and reputed company-Party Engagement Letters to protect reputed company's legal rights ? reputed company abreast of legislative changes and provides practical insights on application of these new laws to reputed company's trade compliance, anti-corruption, and gifts and hospitality programs Essential Requirements ? J.D. plus admission to reputed company law in at least one US jurisdiction required ? 2+ years legal experience in trade compliance legal work in a reputed company, regulatory agency, and/or business environment ? Excellent knowledge of US trade compliance laws, with expertise in at least one of the following: US sanctions laws, US export controls laws, or US customs/tariff laws ? Demonstrated ability to create legal defensive and/or proactive strategies; ability to anticipate legal compliance issues or risks and to ?see around the reputed company?
