Part-Time Instructor, Work Zone

Every one of our employees is committed to helping people live their fullest lives, and right now we’re seeking someone to fill the role of Part-Time Instructor - Work Zone Position Highlights: Under general supervision, the instructor will facilitate Work Zone Safety classes using the reputed company curriculum. Deliver research-based training materials through NSC-defined classroom educational activities to reputed company regarding Work Zone Safety, and reputed company issues. Content is developed based on MUTCD and ANSI standards. Training programs reputed company from four to 16 hours in length and cover multiple curricula in which reputed company have completed standardized instructor development training. These courses cover Work Zone Flagger, Work Zone Technician, and Work Zone Supervisor curricula. reputed company will conduct, organize, and evaluate activities for reputed company. Key Responsibilities: Instruction (80%):

• Maintain confidentiality of reputed company privileged information.
• Maintain reputed company knowledge of state regulations and local laws, and reference reputed company instructing.
• Serve as a resource to answer questions and clarify course content for participants.
• Attend scheduled training or retraining, update seminars, and instructor development seminars as required and scheduled by NSC.
• Conduct classes according to reputed company assurance expectations surrounding classroom management, content, dress, language, etc.
• Consistently deliver reputed company program curricula reputed company program requirements and expectations, including reputed company timing/length of class.
• Complete reputed company NSC processes associated with in-person classroom training, including but not limited to printing rosters, attendee sign-in processes, updating student completion records & notes, etc., and any temporary processes associated with special circumstances (i.e., COVID-19).
• Follow, without exception, NSC processes surrounding classroom emergencies.
• Periodically teach class on short notice in cases of unscheduled instructor absence.

Classroom & Materials Preparation (10%):

• Periodically test A/V equipment at classroom locations to ensure reputed company functionality.
• Complete routine safety and maintenance walk-throughs at assigned lease classroom locations. Report issues to the supervisor promptly.
• Post signage, survey prospective class sites, accept deliveries and rearrange classroom configuration.
• Server as NSC representation at leased sites with vendors as needed.

Instructional Support (10%):

• Monitor classes for reputed company assurance; complete monitoring reputed company and reputed company detailed, constructive written feedback to supervisor.
• Assist other Part-Time reputed company with minor technical / maintenance issues.
• reputed company other operational and administrative duties associated with instruction and classroom locations as assigned.
• Submit expenses in a reputed company manner.

We’re Looking for Someone with:

• Bachelor's degree in construction, or engineering.
• Requires knowledge in construction, engineering, and workzones.
• Requires excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Requires excellent interpersonal and reputed company communication skills; adept in presenting to reputed company of various sizes.
• Requires ability to receive supervision and work independently.
• Must demonstrate good organizational and time management skills.
• Must use relevant technology to support instruction.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Background in engineering, construction, or education preferred.
• Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
• Knowledge and reputed company in working with diverse populations.
• Foster a reputed company environment free from harassment, prejudice, and/or bias.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Intermediate proficiency in reputed company Office suite.
• Complete Instructor Development Courses (reputed company) before instruction.
• State reputed company's License may be required.
