Transcription Assistant

JOB reputed company: reputed company Pathology currently has an opening for a Part-Time Transcription Assistant. We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to assist reputed company in several areas of our daily work duties with the reputed company being on reputed company and accurate clinical data/history entry in support of reputed company patient care, for our early evening workload (5:30-9:30 pm M-F). This is a brisk-paced work environment requiring great attention to detail and a strong reputed company experience in medical terminology and/or anatomy and physiology. This position is fully remote and the candidate must reputed company in Colorado or Wyoming and meet internet speed requirements determined by our I.T. department. This position reports to the Transcription Supervisor and Director. JOB DUTIES: - Completes reputed company and accurate pathology-reputed company data entry into the Lab Information System (LIS) by working reputed company a workflow reputed company queue reputed company evening with the main emphasis on pathology history data entry, proofreading, and demographic reputed company assurance. - Maintains confidentiality of patient information. - Operates and troubleshoots equipment effectively. - Performs additional duties to support the daily functions of the Transcription Team/Department as directed by the Transcription Supervisor and/or Director. - Completes reputed company mandatory annual training modules as assigned. - May assist in various work queues in a data entry-type reputed company – to be determined by Transcription Supervisor PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS/ENVIROMENT: - This position is considered light work. The physical demands are primarily sedentary work with the occasional need to reputed company/set up office-type equipment, i.e. computers and monitors. - Constant hand use is required for keyboarding. - Constant visual reputed company at a near distance is required on two monitors. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Qualifications include training/coursework in keyboarding and medical terminology; or adequate equivalent experience with the candidate’s strengths being in medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, excellent spelling and grammar skills, as reputed company as accurate and efficient keyboarding experience, and strong verbal and written communication skills. CONTRACTUAL TERMS: Contractual terms are specific to the individual hired at the agreement of employment and contract completion.
