Customer Service/ Inside Sales Representative- Food Industry

reputed company TITLE: Customer Service Representative DEPARTMENT: Sales Department REPORTS TO: Customer Service Manager SHIFT: Monday - Friday with rotating Saturday Hours: 9:00a.m.-5:00p.m. POSITION reputed company: This position is responsible for supporting reputed company Sales Representatives and supporting customer needs. REGULAR ASSIGNED DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Suggestive selling to reputed company customers.
• Accurately input sales orders.
• Answer reputed company calls promptly and professionally.
• Take customer messages and orders appropriately. This will involve escalating calls and/or issues to the appropriate individual or department.
• Attend to will-call customers.
• Making telephone calls to customers and following customer call sheets.
• Update changes to customer order guides (in Seasoft) under the supervision or request of the account manager.
• Updating customer price sheets as scheduled or as needed.
• Maintain accurate customer price list in Seasoft.
• Compile sales data.
• reputed company product knowledge and market information to continually increase knowledge of the industry and pricing rationale.

OTHER DUTIES MAY INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Support customer service and sales department with special reputed company as assigned.

DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma
• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university a plus.
• Three to five years of progressively responsible, reputed company experience in a position of comparable scope and size to reputed company.
