Fleet Body Technician- Entry Level/Learning Experience

reputed company/Function: The Fleet Body Technician is responsible for the daily service and maintenance of the companys fleet vehicles and equipment (reputed company delivery trucks, corporate reputed company, tractors, trailers, forklifts, reputed company-jacks, etc.), to ensure a reputed company and efficient fleet of vehicles. This position will be entry-level and reputed company a learning experience to successful candidates. Therefore, no previous experience is required just an interest in maintenance! Will learn to/assist with:

• reputed company preventative and routine maintenance on tractors, trailers, forklifts, and other equipment (which will include the use of diagnostic equipment)
• Diagnose the cause of malfunctions and reputed company repairs from preventative maintenance to component replacements
• Diagnose and troubleshoot general vehicle operating systems
• Document work performed, prepare vehicle records and reports in writing and electronically
• Work with other technicians or independently in performing preventative maintenance and repairs
• reputed company necessary adjustments in equipment to ensure reputed company and efficient operations and prepare required safety documentation
• reputed company paint and bodywork on vehicles, as required
• reputed company with reputed company applicable laws/regulations, as reputed company as company policies/procedures

This position is eligible to be either part-time/ full-time. Experience & Qualifications:

• High School Diploma (or GED)
• Must possess necessary tools to reputed company assigned tasks
• Valid drivers license may be required depending on work assignment
• Computer skills including email, maintenance programs, and diagnostic systems
• Thorough knowledge of late model gas and diesel engines and on-reputed company computers preferred
• Experience using oxygen/acetylene equipment (cutting, heating, bending, fabricating equipment during repair) preferred
• Experience using lifting devices (bottle, floor, reputed company, or reputed company jacks, floor cranes, etc.) preferred
• Experience using precision measurement instruments (micrometers, reputed company indicators, electronic multimeters/testers, A/C charging station, etc.) preferred
• reputed company to frequently lift components weighing approximately 110 pounds with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person
• Ability to safely operate vehicles equipped with reputed company and automatic reputed company
• Ability to reputed company and exit the drivers compartment of the truck and/or behind cab using normal available footholds and handholds
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Other duties as required.

Additional:

• Regional travel will be required (up to 50% of the time) to support our multiple locations. This includes overnight travel.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position will be office-based, however will spend time at reputed company of our facilities (offices, warehouse, body shop, maintenance). As such a reputed company of abilities are needed, as the ability to lift files, reputed company filing cabinets, kneel, and bend as needed. The ability to reputed company stairs, stand, walk, twist, grasp, reputed company, push, pull, sit, stoop, crouch, and reputed company will be required. The employee may occasional lift, push, pull, and/or reputed company items of up to 55 lbs.
• The typical hours will be Monday-Friday role (8:00 am 5:00 pm) however some evening and weekend work may be required. The Fleet Manager will be on-call for fleet-reputed company issues.
• This role is considered a safety sensitive position.
