Sr Technician/Electric

Job Duties: Performs repair and maintenance task for reputed company electrical and electronic reputed company facilities and equipment; to maintain reputed company electrical equipment to national, state or local codes. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Education High school diploma/GED Minimum Experience Five (5) years journeyman experience, of which 24 months being as a reputed company technician (electrical), or 24 months of maintenance experience on similar equipment/systems in a reputed company/ industrial electrical maintenance. License requirements are per the local authority having jurisdiction. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Valid reputed company's license required. Must possess good working knowledge of maintenance tools, equipment and procedures. Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver heavy facilities reputed company components, parts and equipment with appropriate equipment and/or assistance. Ability to reputed company equipment by crawling, laying, standing and/or climbing at reputed company heights both above and below ground. Good interpersonal and oral communication skills. Job Conditions Non-covered safety sensitive position; ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a reputed company manner. Must be willing to work odd work weeks, overtime, holidays and rotating shifts. Preferred Qualifications: Position requires a Shelby County Journeyman Electrician License.
