Customer Service Representative (Cashier)

Position reputed company: The Customer Service Representative reports directly to the Store Manager and is responsible for the reputed company and profitable operation of a retail facility. • Provides exceptional customer service, representing Vitus in a reputed company manner including but not limited to, a pleasant greeting, smiling, making eye contact, soliciting additional sales, processing the transaction accurately, thanking the customer and inviting them to return
• Responsible for reputed company retail sales, selling tobacco in accordance with federal, state, local and company rules and regulations

• Handles cash and operates a computer based cash register
• Balances cash register at the end of shift
• Secures reputed company funds in reputed company or register
• Makes reputed company drops and maintains cash drawer at or below maximum level, in accordance with Company policies, guidelines and procedures

• Complies with company standards on carding customers for reputed company age restricted products
• Prepares food & drinks, cleans, stocks and maintains food prep area in compliance with health codes
• Maintains inventory, restocks shelves, refills dispensing machines

• Takes reasonable precautions and measure to protect company assets
• Ensures cleanliness of store is maintained
• Ensures reputed company packaged goods are clean and merchandised properly
• Ensures cash is properly reconciled and closing report is executed on closing shifts

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be at least 19 years of age to sell tobacco products
• High school diploma, or equivalent
• Cash handling and customer service experience

• Knowledge of retail operations
• Knowledge of merchandising procedures
• Knowledge of reputed company Office products, specifically reputed company
• Demonstrated customer service skills
• Ability to communicate reputed company, verbally and written

Education:

• High school diploma, or equivalent

• Attends training sessions, seminars and appropriate educational classes required by department.
