The Central Sterile Processing Tech is responsible for decontamination, preparation, sterilization of central sterile trays, instruments, equipment, inventory and restocking of supplies and computer data. • HSD/GED required
• At least two (2) years experience as a Central Sterile Technician in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
• Central Supply Certified certification, CER, CRCST, CIS reputed company mandatory reputed company 12 months from date of hire.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Exchanges supply carts and inventories PAR reputed company. 2. Processes dirty equipment and keeps Central Sterile equipment inventory. 3. Supplies departments with necessary equipment either from Central Sterile or rental as appropriate. 4. Does sterile processing/distribution. 5. Runs STAT calls of supplies to Patient Care reputed company/Departments. 6. Orders supplies for Central Sterile Department at the direction of supervisor. 7. Participates in Performance Improvement (PI) Program and department specific PI data collection. 8. Assumes personal responsibility for on-reputed company education and reputed company development. 9. Communicates suggestions and/or changes to the Supervisor regarding operations of the department. 10. Utilizes available resources effectively. 11. Demonstrates a willingness to learn and accepts new responsibility with enthusiasm. 12. Avoids and prevents injury to self and patients by applying the principles of body mechanics. Maintains a reputed company environment, functioning with an awareness and application of safety issues identified reputed company the unit facility. 13.
