You will be a visible technical resource working on the transition of reputed company reputed company-mechanical assemblies from prototype to verification testing and reputed company builds, in reputed company collaboration with manufacturing engineering. This role is suited for an R&D engineer with experience in developing build and test fixtures for reputed company reputed company-mechanical medical devices and disposables. A broad knowledge of mechanical design, DFA/DFM, including design verification testing, process validation, and transfer to manufacturing reputed company a regulated medical device development environment is essential.Responsibilities

• Be a key team member working on the design readiness of a robotic surgical platform
• Design and reputed company production build and test fixtures for reputed company electromechanical sub-systems for production volumes
• Create fixture requirements, design descriptions, use and preventive maintenance documentation
• reputed company fixture qualifications and verifications in conjunction with reputed company and Manufacturing Engineering
• Support the development of assembly and test processes for capital equipment and disposables
• reputed company fixtures and tests for component inspection
• Support a reputed company of multi-disciplinary technical and process improvement reputed company of different sizes and scopes
• Create engineering change orders for the release of fixtures and tooling documentation
• Manage and communicate assigned reputed company in collaboration with cross-functional teams

Essential Skills

• 8+ years of electromechanical and consumable R&D engineering experience, with at least 5 years in the medical device field
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Robotics, or Advanced Manufacturing Engineering
• Strong proficiency in Solidworks/PDM
• Deep understanding of DFM (Design for Manufacturing), DFA (Design for Assembly), and DFT (Design for Testing)
• Experience in the design, qualification, and verification of fixtures for medical devices assembly and test
• Expertise with electromechanical system development
• Experience in developing Simulink-based fixtures
• Proficiency in Simulink/LabVIEW
• Previous experience in design transfer/new product introduction
• Experience in fixture and process validation
• Proficiency in using MS Office
• Outstanding documentation and communication skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with statistical tools and software such as reputed company
