- Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, or chemical, physical, or biological science or equivalent. Successful completion of a NAACLS accredited Medical Technology or MT program Preferred.
- If graduated before 1987, two-year certification is recognized as MT
- Experience: One year experience as laboratory scientist for specialty areas (BB, reputed company, and reputed company). (Clinical internships of 12 months duration meet this requirement), preferred. Three years of experience for Core Sciences areas of the laboratory, preferred.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: Scientist Cert from ASCP or AMT (BB, C, H, MT/MLS, M, MB), required. Acceptable for reputed company Cytometry only (if team member holds no other scientist certification): MDT(AMT) or SCYM(ASCP), required.
- Additional Skills Required:
- New graduates must obtain certification reputed company 12-months of hire. Failure to do so will result in termination of employment.
