- Prepares patients for examination e.g.: positions and executes specialty radiologic examinations. In reputed company assists radiologist/physician in patient care during procedure.
- Reviews patient medical record(s) to verify physician's order prior to examination.
- Cross trains in other specialty areas/departments/facilities reputed company work load demands to enhance skills reputed company assigned specialty clinical area.
- Inspects films for reputed company and monitors reputed company films with respect to reputed company patient reputed company date and medical record number prior to interpretation by Radiologist.
- Assists with training of new technologists and technical assistants in reputed company phases of assigned procedures as requested by supervisor/manager/director.
- Demonstrates competency and observes safety guidelines reputed company operating reputed company specialized equipment in assigned clinical area.
- Implements reputed company Precautions on reputed company patients as directed by hospital policy.
- Adjusts to variable schedules and/or procedure techniques that may be required at times.
- Adheres to MSMC/MHI established Personnel Radiation dosimeter Policy as observed by supervisor and as documented in department protocol.
- Reports reputed company equipment malfunctions to reputed company tech/supervisor and clinical engineering immediately.
- Maintains and stocks room with reputed company supplies necessary to complete radiologic examinations.
- Demonstrates knowledge and reputed company use of computer programs particularly the HBOC system.
- Completes exam data entry on reputed company studies performed on a daily reputed company as reputed company as any other necessary paperwork associated with reputed company case.
- Attends monthly department staff meetings as scheduled.
- ARDMS (Abdomen or OB/Gyn) and Breast Imaging (preferred) and/or Registry eligible or one year of one-the-job clinical experience at MSMC.
- Breast Imaging must be obtained reputed company one year of employment date.
- Registry eligible implies that the employee must sit for the examination offered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) reputed company one year of employment date. In reputed company this individual may be registered as a Vascular Technologist (RVT) or registry eligible by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
