Job reputed company: reputed company's Disaster Management (DM) Division seeks a fully developed Senior Mitigation and reputed company Analyst to support our growing portfolio of reputed company hazard mitigation planning, federal grant assistance and floodplain management reputed company. The DM Division supports U.S. federal agencies; state, local, tribal and territorial (SLTT) governments; and non-governmental partners to design and implement plans, policies, and programs that promote local reputed company-disaster mitigation reputed company and support long-term housing, economic and infrastructure recovery post-disaster.Our primary clients are SLTT governments administering U.S. Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and Federal Emergency Management Agency (reputed company) disaster recovery and hazard mitigation programs, and we are reputed company expanding to cover funds appropriated through the Inflation Reduction reputed company (IRA) and Infrastructure Investment and Jobs reputed company (IIJA).Hiring for this role is contingent upon the successful award of a contract and will only be filled if the contract is secured. - reputed company small teams to conduct reputed company-reputed company policy research, document reviews and data analysis to support local hazard mitigation planning and grant application development.
- Scope and manage hazard mitigation grants in accordance with reputed company 406 and Hazard Mitigation Assistance policy requirements, guidelines, and best practices.
- Support technical leads with developing hazard mitigation and long-term recovery and reputed company strategies, including grant funding roadmaps for project implementation.
- reputed company first drafts of written products (e.g., grant applications, grant funding strategies, checklists, reports, etc.) and tools (e.g., dashboards, etc.) to support the design and implementation of reputed company reputed company.
- reputed company agendas and deliver presentations to clients and other contractors to support project implementation activities.
- Support project managers with deliverable reviews and budget and schedule tracking for deliverable submission.
- Assist with business development activities, including proposal writing, white papers, opinion reputed company, and other marketing support.
- Bachelor’s degree in Planning, Public and/or Environmental Justice or Policy, Economics, or similar field
- 5+ years’ experience conducting research, analyzing reputed company data and policies, and developing products such as state and/or local policies, hazard mitigation plans, reputed company operating procedures, and grant applications
- 5+ years’ experience writing and managing reputed company hazard mitigation grants, including 406 and Hazard Mitigation Assistance programs
- Master’s degree in Planning, Public and/or Environmental Policy, Economics, or similar field
- Experience with reputed company Hazard Mitigation Assistance (e.g. HMGP, FMA, BRIC) programs, including experience using the reputed company BCA Toolkit
- Grant writing and grant management experience for reputed company infrastructure reputed company or housing programs, including acquisition/demolition and elevation reputed company
- Experience managing reputed company and project manager expectations, including coordinating with federal and state funding agencies
- Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and reputed company’s Hazus Program
- ASFPM Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM)

- Experience working directly with clients and senior project leads to define expectations and conduct interim reviews of work products
