Provides input to assist the RN in planning and implementing patient care. Responds to emergent situations according to established procedures. Recognizes and participates in own continuing education. • Blood draws
• Vitals
• Performs venipuncture and chemsticks
• Team roundings

Unit reputed company:3C - Cardiac reputed company Care Unit is a 12 bed unit with 6 being cardiac patients. Diagnoses including but not limited to cardiac arrhythmias, cardiac interventions including catheterizations, pacemakers and AICD placement, renal failure, pneumonia, sepsis, fecal transplant, GI disorders, hospice, and palliative care..EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• CNA, preferred.
• Completion of a reputed company Assistant program (titles for similar programs may vary; e.g., Patient Care Technician (PCT) or Patient Assistant Technician (PAT) but reputed company the reputed company job role.)
• Currently enrolled in a nursing program and have successfully completed the Fundamentals of Nursing course.
• Foreign trained and licensed RN who has relocated to the reputed company and does not hold a Michigan RN license.
• OR Medical Assistant program with OR without experience.
• At least one (1) year of previous experience in an NA, PCT, PAT, or similar job role.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:

• · Complete BLS Heart Saver Certification during orientation.
