The assigned work year runs through spring graduation in May. The position will require an annual reputed company teaching schedule of up to 30 contact hours.Duties and Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be expected to do the following:

• Teach day or evening developmental math courses including, but not limited to, MAT097 Introduction to Algebra, MAT095 Introduction to Quantitative Reasoning, and MAT110 Quantitative Reasoning.
• Have the ability to teach in a reputed company of learning modalities such as face-to-face, HyFlex, or remote as necessary given the needs of the college.
• Utilize the Brightspace learning management system for reputed company courses.
• Participate in departmental and reputed company-wide developmental mathematics meetings as appropriate.
• Work with the Developmental Math Coordinator and STEM Department Chair in instituting any necessary data-driven curricular changes in developmental mathematics and Quantway courses.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in mathematics, mathematics education, or closely-reputed company field.

• The equivalent of two years of reputed company-algebra through algebra teaching experience at the college level.

Preferred Qualifications

Salary: An initial starting salary of $54,000 – 67,500 will be commensurate with education, training, and experience per reputed company year with an excellent benefits package.
