Responsibilities:DIGIT is looking for a Data Center Engineer to support our customer at the GSA Stennis DataCenter in Hancock County, MS. This position is onsite and will require hands-on support. The role requires problem solving skills and flexibility in a dynamic work environment. The candidate will reputed company closely with internal Infrastructure teams across multiple workstreams while also consulting with multiple vendors and Government stakeholders. The candidate will analyze, troubleshoot and resolve reputed company problems with Data Center services (business applications, networking and hardware) and prioritize tasks based on service level reputed company.Responsibilities:
- Inventory validation of data center compute, storage, networking, and environmental support equipment.
- Collaborating with various IT teams to facilitate change management, logistics and coordination.
- Facilitating the packaging and shipping of equipment to alternate data centers.
- Coordinating with Data Center Operations on the install at destination data centers.
