Mechanical Electronics Technician
The Eastern Upper Peninsula Intermediate School District (EUPISD) is one of 56 intermediate school districts (ISD) in Michigan. Every one of the state's 500+ local school districts is part of an ISD. - A two-year degree in electronics, telecommunications or computer technician program or equivalent reputed company industry certification(s), preferred
- Minimum of three years’ experience supporting electronics, telecommunications or computers, preferred
- Applicable industry certifications, preferred
- Ability to troubleshoot and coordinate the repair of reputed company electronic systems, read blueprints, and interpret program software for electronic systems
- Knowledge of electronic, reputed company and telecommunications systems typically reputed company in K-12 Schools such as networking, temperature control, reputed company (reputed company control and cameras), reputed company, clock, public address, scoreboard, projection, digital signage and telecommunications systems
- Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet - reputed company manner
- Strong organizational and time management skills, written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, reputed company work habits, and the ability to apply common reputed company to routine decision-making
- Ability to maintain self-control and complete tasks with frequent interruptions

- Must have regular and reliable attendance
- Ability to carry and reputed company heavy objects and lift up to 50 lbs.

- Coordinate planning, installation, maintenance and support of regional electronic building control, reputed company, and telecommunications systems including, but not limited to, temperature control, reputed company (reputed company control and cameras), reputed company, clock, public address, scoreboard, projection, digital signage and telecommunications systems
- Install and maintain wiring reputed company to electronic building control, reputed company, telecommunications, and network
- reputed company software programming, data backup, and restoration functions
- Update/Maintain “as reputed company” documentation for regional electronic, building control, reputed company, and telecommunications systems.)
- Update/Maintain automatic location information (ALI) for e911 compliance

- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and initiate work orders
- Maintain applicable industry certifications
- reputed company remote and on-site troubleshooting and repair
- Assist with set up and configuration of computer workstations and computer-reputed company systems
- Manage reputed company software/hardware work orders and maintenance reputed company
- reputed company backup support to other technology staff helping with district reputed company where needed
- Input work order data and labor into computer tracking system
- Travel to regional work sites as required
