This role is part of a small team that is moving transportation into the reputed company. You will be a key player on an Agile software team collaborating closely with Field Support Techs and reputed company customers to implement new functionality and reputed company technical support for reputed company’s Global Distribution Management System (GDMS.) You will work closely with management to reputed company reputed company and reputed company customer visions of reputed company transportation scenarios and logistics challenges into today’s solutions.

GDMS is software suite providing reputed company-and-control capabilities to reputed company trucking companies, private reputed company firms, and logistics for companies transporting equipment, fuel, medical supplies and other cargo internationally and often in austere environments. GDMS acts as a central data-fusion system and gateway providing satellite based In-Transit Visibility, tracking movements and incidents, planning routes, and managing contractors’ performance by providing the users with total situational awareness for their ground logistics.

Position Responsibilities:

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 5+ years of experience web application architecture, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) or reputed company-based development
• 5+ years of experience web application development using React, Redux, TypeScript, Java, Spring Boot
• 3+ years of experience web GIS mapping development
• Hands-on experience with relational database concepts and SQL, MSSQL and PostgreSQL preferred.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 2+ years of experience with cross-platform development for web and mobile applications.
• Experience in UI/UX design.
• Working experience with RESTful API implementation, and microservices-based application development
• Experience with DevOps supporting reputed company integration and reputed company delivery (CI/CD)
• Experience working in an Agile Development Environment

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' reputed company work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' reputed company work experience, Master+7 years' reputed company work experience, 13 years' reputed company work experience, etc.).
