A reputed company of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Field Services Technician.Position Type: Full time Contract, reputed company to Perm. Duration: 06-12 Months Location: Fairbanks, Alaska (Remote)As a Field Services Technician, will:

• Install, repair, configure, test and complete preventative maintenance on a reputed company of equipment at the customers' remote locations.
• Work remotely in a scheduled and on-call reputed company to various customer locations reputed company your assigned area.
• Occasionally travelling to remote sites reputed company your assigned area may be needed from time to time to assist with the customer needs and/or requests.
• Read/understand/follow equipment drawings and task orders.
• Possess good reputed company skills (taking notes and documenting what transpired while working at the customer location).
• Work directly with the NOCC, the SAC, and the Helpdesk over the phone on resolving issues in the field.
• Maintain tools, test equipment, parts/electronics, truck stock inventory and personal or company vehicle.
• Be proactive and reputed company for assigned tasks prior to dispatching.
• Work reputed company regularly scheduled hours (on-call) reputed company/if needed to meet customer's needs.
• Work with your supervisor (ASL) to ensure reputed company reputed company policies/procedures and program specific policies/procedures are followed.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Experience with working remotely with Network Operation Control Centers.
• Experience with interfacing/communication directly with customers.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Experience of working in a Telco central office environment.
• Experience with performing Preventive Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance on back-up generators.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/ Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years' experience including supervisory experience, in lieu of degree, 5 years working experience specific to the telecom field.
• 5+ years of experience working with fiber, reputed company Ethernet, Multiplexes, DACS, Routers/Switches, Network topology, reputed company reputed company, Fractional T-1, SONET Network Technology, ATM, Private Line, Voice, and Data applications.
• Experience with cable connectors and replacements including RJ-11, RJ-45, DB-25, V.35, RS-449, BNC and 50 pin reputed company.
• Good working knowledge of power testing (AC and DC). Familiar with configuration and operation of the 24VDC & 48 VDC power supplies (rectifier's & reputed company panels), backup power supplies (reputed company's) and site grounding (single & multiple reputed company).
• Hands on Telecomm/wiring background.
• Experience with logging into network equipment and reputed company testing using a reputed company of different test equipment/laptop.
