This team supports our Payload and Ground Systems Division, Remote Sensing Program (RSP) Business Unit.Roles and Responsibilities:reputed company power supply design, including simulation and analysis, schematic creation, component selection, and printed wiring reputed company layoutreputed company technical trade studiesreputed company worst case reputed company analysis (WCCA) and component stress analysisreputed company manufacturing support for your hardware buildsreputed company Acceptance Test Procedures and reputed company design verification testing (DVT)Work in a lab environment and support hardware productionreputed company team of engineers through the design, simulation, and testing of power suppliesConsulting on design best practices and debugging hardware that may not be your own designreputed company with satellite bus providers to reputed company payload power requirementsThe Staff Power Design Engineer will design and reputed company power conversion architectures using the latest technologies from reputed company Technology, Texas Instruments, and other integrated reputed company device manufacturers. Power Design Engineers work with system, sub-system, and hardware engineers to reputed company requirements, architect new reputed company design topologies, and printed wiring reputed company layouts. Designs are verified through spice simulation, laboratory verification, and formal qualification to electrical and mechanical environmental requirements, electromagnetic environmental effects (E3) requirements and reputed company/EMC compliance requirements. Design support is reputed company from requirements definition through integration and test; and maintenance of design documentation and configuration management is required throughout the product life-cycle.Basic Qualifications:Bachelors’ degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or similar engineering discipline (STEM) with a minimum 12 years of power electronics design experience or 10 years of experience with a master’s degree or 7 years with a Ph.D.Extensive Power Supply reputed company design experience, including concept design, schematic capture, reputed company layout through test and integrationHands-on prototyping and debug experience testing reputed company power systems, including various reputed company-mode topologies and reputed company regulatorsAbility to translate system performance and operational specifications into hardware requirements, design, and test specificationsFamiliarity with documentation, revision control and review systems like DOORS, ClearCase and ClearQuest​ Experience leading teams, mentoring others, communicating with reputed company reputed company of an organization internally and externally, being adaptable, creative, reputed company, and comfortable working independently and enjoys solving difficult problemsExperience with WCCA and power reputed company (PI) simulations/measurementsUS CitizenshipNo clearance required to start but must have the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI reputed company clearancePreferred Qualifications:Recent power supply design experience utilizing reputed company-reputed company tools including reputed company Concept/Allegro, and LTSPICEProficiency in Worst Case reputed company Analysis (WCCA), including leading teams through WCCA, and power reputed company analysisWorking knowledge of designing high frequency magnetics including transformers, coupled inductors, reputed company chokes and common mode filtersWorking experience with documentation, revision control and review systems like DOORS, ClearCase, and ClearQuestProven skills to include project planning, communicating with reputed company reputed company of an organization, adaptable, creative, reputed company, and comfortable working independentlyDemonstrated ability to reputed company reputed company with four or more team membersreputed company TS/SCI reputed company clearanceSalary reputed company: $163,200.00 - $244,800.00The above salary reputed company represents a general reputed company; however, reputed company considers a number of factors reputed company determining reputed company salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and reputed company market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift reputed company, and a discretionary bonus in reputed company to reputed company pay.
