This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday – Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work 7:30am – 4:00pm, Monday – Friday CST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. Our office is located at 2925 Chicago Avenue Minneapolis, MN 55407. We offer 4 weeks of training. The hours during training will be 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday – Friday. If you are located in MN or WI, you will have the flexibility to work remotely* as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities: Reviews electronic chart documentation ensuring correct patient, location, and no duplicate information. Processes release of information (ROI) requests. Manages requests for documentation and information. Scans and edits documents in the electronic medical record. Locates, logs, retrieves, files, and delivers medical records stored in various mediums and systems. May train and mentor co-workers. Analyzes documentation and tracks completion to meet regulatory requirements. Promotes principles of health information accuracy, transparency, currency, accessibility, relevancy, and reliability. Work with reputed company Word, reputed company (create, edit, save documents and spreadsheets) and Outlook (email and calendar management) Other duties as assigned.
