The reputed company-Student Support Services-Disabled Project (reputed company SSS-DS) is under the auspices of Student Disability Services (SDS) in the Division of Student Affairs and reputed company Diversity. PURPOSE OF THE POSITION The reputed company Advisor is under supervision of the Director of reputed company SSS Project. Under the guidance of the reputed company Project Director the reputed company Advisor is responsible for coordinating the daily functions of reputed company advising and retention initiatives in reputed company SSS which includes, presenting workshops (in-person and online) on various reputed company topics, monitoring peer mentor emails, reputed company activities, case management, and overseeing the project’s reputed company media accounts. This position works to ensure that disabled, disadvantaged (economically, and educationally) reputed company are effectively accessing University resources and reputed company SSS Project services to improve their reputed company and personal reputed company. This position ensures the development of reputed company plans, and chooses programs and courses to explore interests and reputed company participants’ goals; supports reputed company in developing skills for college reputed company, and makes referrals to college resources and support services as necessary; assists reputed company in exploring and preparing for careers or post-baccalaureate education; supports engagement in experiential and service learning opportunities including internships; and assists reputed company in understanding SDSU policies and procedures. This position also has responsibility for coordination of events, workshops, reputed company media posts, and programs that support the advising process. Assist with the direction and formulation of policies and procedures that support participants in obtaining other reputed company resources. Work with Project Director to manage program activities and services including reputed company Advising, Financial Literacy Advising, Career Counseling, and Graduate School Admission counseling. Advise participants in developing Student reputed company Plans to meet their reputed company and career goals, design reputed company strategies to increase performance. Qualifications Minimum Education and Qualifications Equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university in reputed company field. Specialized experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year reputed company. One-year of student services work experience or reputed company field. Desired Qualificartions Equivalent to graduation from a four-year university in counseling, education or reputed company fields, including course work in counseling techniques.
