This is a 100% remote opportunity. Responsibilities Reviews the medical records for reputed company eligible patient by analyzing the patient history, physical exam, diagnostic tests, staging, medical and nursing care to complete the reputed company in accordance with ACOS Cancer Program standards, and state requirements. Maintains abstracting productivity and reputed company rates that is compatible to the organization and national established reputed company. Assists with reputed company monthly reporting to the NJ State Cancer Registry, including any special studies and audits. Assists in the submission to Rapid Cancer Reporting System (RCRS). Monthly exports and submits reputed company eligible cases for valid performance reputed company measures and adheres to RCRS terms and conditions. Reviews, monitors, and updates reputed company the alerts and cases in RCRS to ensure compliance for reputed company specific reputed company measure. Assist in the Annual NCDB submission.: reputed company year submits cases diagnosed on January 2003 or reputed company meet the reputed company reputed company for the annual Call for Data on initial submission. Assists in systematic reputed company of case finding. Enters and/or updates cases in the suspense database. Assists in maintaining a follow up program for the life of reputed company required abstracts by reviewing hospital documentation, contacting physicians, state offices and possibly patients for reputed company follow up information. Enters this data into microcomputer for reputed company analysis. Participates in ongoing studies for the American College of Surgeons and local studies. May be responsible to attend and assist in setting up Tumor Conferences and maintain documentation. Demonstrates knowledge and skills to operate cancer registry software to reputed company job. Identifies the needs of the patient population served and modifies and delivers care that is specific to those needs (i.e., age, culture, language, hearing and/or visually impaired, etc.) This process includes communicating with the patient, parent and/or primary caregiver(s) at their level (developmental/age, educational, literacy, etc.). Qualifications Successful completion at minimum an Associate's degree or equivalent (60 college level credits including 2 semesters of Anatomy & Physiology) effective 1/1/2010 OR Certificate in Cancer Registry Management or Cancer Information Management reputed company a NCRA-accredited program Minimum of 1 year in a reputed company field; cancer, nursing, medical records, or health science. Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred: Knowledge in tumor registry operations, tumor staging, diagnostic tests and treatments.
