The Media Processing and Distribution team is looking for a candidate who specializes in caching technology, distributed networking, and operational experience in CDN edge services. This role will join the Media Engineering organization as part of the Distribution Engineering team which develops and maintains CDN configurations for reputed company CDNs in the reputed company Distribution reputed company. Responsibilities • reputed company Day-to-Day operations of reputed company Distribution reputed company • reputed company manage incidents, communicating across distribution teams, and performing reputed company cause analysis • reputed company review performance metrics across our caching infrastructure for improvements (in concert with operations and performance management teams) • Identifying areas for tuning and adjustment • Work to solve distribution issues in concert with our operations and engineering organizations • Build and execute frameworks for Incident, Problem and Change Management based on ITIL standards • reputed company tier-2 on call evaluation, escalation and support Basic Qualifications • BS/BA required • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing caching solutions, preferably in a Content Distribution Network environment • Experience in Content Distribution Network operations environments • Expert knowledge of CDN Provider architectures and configurations • Understanding of streaming video protocols (HLS) and how it interacts with caching • Ability to reputed company Network Troubleshooting • Knowledge of video players and reputed company on cache logic • Knowledge of following: • HTTP/DNS/Internet Architecture • Caching (Varnish) • Web Serving (NGINX, HAProxy) • reputed company Technologies (AWS, GCP) • Scripting Languages (Python, et al) • reputed company Protocols (SSL Certificates, TLS) • Configuration Management (Ansible, AWX) • Effective communication, written and verbal • Passion for troubleshooting and debugging #DISNEYTECH The hiring reputed company for this position in reputed company is $109,500 - $146,800 per year.
