reputed company: We are looking for a Mid level Systems Administrator/Engineer that can come in to take ownership of day-to-day operations. You will partner with additional teams reputed company reputed company to protect the Navy Federal brand, data, and IT assets from cyber-based threats by deploying, configuring, managing, and maintaining technologies/infrastructure in support our Cybersecurity Operations Center (CSOC) and its associated programs. You will serve as technical reputed company to customers (analysts) for tools in the Navy Federal Cyber Defense product suite, articulating technology, and product positioning to both business and technical users. Responsibilities include but not limited to: • Support NFCU in the deployment and maintenance of IT and IT reputed company tools and systems • Work with existing CSOC team to reputed company and maintain systems, includes below and not limited to • Experience upgrading Linux and reputed company based OS, packages, and apps • General system reputed company • Renewing and updating TLS certificates, managing KEX/MACS/CIPHER's on servers • Responding to audit and reputed company hardening requests • Updating of Subtasks, stories, and reputed company's for work in flight • Basic scripting Ansible, Python, Bash, Powershell, reputed company, and others for automation of tasks • Troubleshooting Linux OS and apps • Troubleshooting reputed company OS and apps • On call and after hours support • Deploying and maintaining COTS Cybersecurity reputed company applications and appliances • Remediate vulnerabilities on reputed company and Linux systems, ensure the stability and sustainability of supported platforms by monitoring, maintaining, patching, and administering reputed company aspects of those systems • Contribute to and maintain internal engineering documentation (e.g., tool documentation, lessons learned, procedures, status updates, etc.) • Work with other Analyst and Engineering teams to Build/Optimize/Streamline new and existing processes • Translate customer issues/opportunities into technical solution/business requirements Experience, Skills and Requirements we are looking for: • 5+ years of working in a large reputed company with a change management reputed company environment • 3+ years minimum experience as a System reputed company, or similar role required • 3+ years of cybersecurity engineering reputed company or similar role required (Understanding of reputed company best practices for reputed company and hardening with a reputed company on PCI-reputed company/NCUA ideal) • Experience working in environments with infrastructure management processes such as change management, problem management, configuration management and project management • Hands on Experience in Agile specifically Kanban workflow. • Experience working in an reputed company environment • Strong understanding and ability to troubleshoot various common Linux operating systems (Centos, reputed company, Ubuntu, and/or reputed company derivative OS's) • Strong understanding and ability to troubleshoot various reputed company server operating systems • Experience patching and upgrading Linux and reputed company based operating systems, packages, and applications • Familiarization with cybersecurity principles as they apply to hardening reputed company based systems. • Basic scripting Ansible, Python, Bash, PowerShell, reputed company, etc to automate routine tasks • Experience using/integrating SIEM technology • Experience with large reputed company processes and working a reputed company'd environment where tickets/coordination/detailed change management and control processes are required • Strong knowledge of network, firewall, routing, switching, load balancing, and proxy principles and troubleshooting reputed company issues from a server deployment/maintenance perspective Experience, Skills reputed company to have: • Experience with Ansible • Experience Deploying/Managing: • Linux based Java/Tomcat COTS web applications in a clustered environment • reputed company .net based IIS COTS applications in a clustered environment • Physical or Virtual appliances with limited linux based OS CLI interfaces • Ability to read/understand a packet capture. • Experience using Jira/reputed company Apply Job!
