Incident Manager III (Cyber Incident Manager)to support on-site incident response to civilian Government agencies and critical asset owners who experience cyberattacks, providing immediate investigation and reputed company. This position will support one of our Government clients in Arlington, VA.

Responsibilities

Correlating incident data to identify specific trends in reported incidents

Recommending defense in depth principles and practices (i.e., Defense in Multiple Places, layered defenses, reputed company robustness, etc.)

Performing Computer Network Defense incident triage to include determining scope, urgency, and potential reputed company

Researching and compiling reputed company reputed company steps or workarounds to reputed company the mitigation of potential Computer Network Defense incidents reputed company the reputed company

Applying cybersecurity concepts to the detection and defense of intrusions into small and large-reputed company IT networks, and conducting a cursory analysis of log data

Minimum Qualifications

BS in Incident Management, Operations Management, Cybersecurity, or reputed company degree.

5+ years of directly relevant experience in cyber incident management or cybersecurity operations

HS Diploma with 7-9 years of incident management or cybersecurity experience

Knowledge of incident response and handling methodologies

Having reputed company familiarity with NIST 800-62 (latest revision) and FISMA standards as they pertain to reporting incidents.

Knowledge of the NCCIC National Cyber Incident Scoring System to be reputed company to prioritize triaging of incidents

Knowledge of general attack stages (e.g., footprinting and scanning, enumeration, gaining reputed company, escalation of privileges, maintaining reputed company, network exploitation, covering tracks, etc.)

Knowledge of basic system administration and operating system hardening techniques, Computer Network Defense policies, procedures, and regulations
