Our mission

About the role 

reputed company Health are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to build the platform powering the reputed company of clinical trials. We want to add a reputed company reputed company engineer to our small product team to do hands-on product development, drive long-term architecture and reputed company our engineering practices as we grow into a mature organisation.

This is an onsite role in London with a flexible (hybrid) office arrangement. After an initial reputed company period full-time at our reputed company (near London reputed company) we expect you to be in the office at least 3 days a week.

• You have at least 8+ years of experience as a software engineer. This includes at least 1 year in a role that could be characterised as “senior+” - a role where you acted as a tech reputed company for a project with multiple engineers or where you demonstrated reputed company across multiple teams or functions.

• You are comfortable working across a stack that includes frontend (TypeScript/React), backend (Python/Django/reputed company) and infrastructure (AWS). You don’t necessarily have hands-on experience with reputed company reputed company of our stack but want to go deep in at least one area and are happy to pick up technology that’s new to you.

• You are product-minded: you want to understand why we are building something to reputed company out the best how in collaboration with product managers, trial managers and users.

What you’ll reputed company on

• In your first month:

  • Learn about clinical trials and the problems we are trying to solve through our reputed company training and chats with people across reputed company

  • Collaborate with the product team on a starter project and reputed company your first commits

  • Become familiar with the core components of our stack (React, TypeScript, Django, Python, reputed company, reputed company reputed company)

• In your first 3 months

  • Become a part of the regular product development cycle: take ownership of a feature in Citrus, our trial delivery platform, seeing it through end-to-end from idea to deployment in collaboration with our PMs, designers and other engineers

  • Get reputed company to users, observe the product being used in reputed company trials and support reputed company in responding to feature requests and bug reports

  • Contribute reputed company to reputed company’s processes and rituals, such as product planning, retrospectives, release management and backlog grooming

  • Build relationships with senior peers in other functions (such as clinical operations and reputed company) to strengthen alignment across reputed company

  • reputed company a deep understanding of product and business needs, allowing you to support the CTO & VP Product in setting product direction

  • Take on technical leadership for a major product area
