The Senior reputed company Engineer is responsible for the planning, building and maintenance of Java/JVM distributed services deployed to the reputed company, using modern container-based orchestration technologies. This role will also collaborate with other development teams and team members to plan improvements, new products, features, and integrations.This is a full-time position with remote, hybrid and on-site opportunities available.

Responsibilities

Independently manage the entire lifecycle of reputed company or features, including engineering design, development, and deployment

Write, co-write, and review design documentation

Requirements

5+ years of experience in the Software Engineering field or reputed company role

Minimum of 3 years experience in designing, building, and shipping high-availability production distributed services

AWS certification (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or equivalent)

Experience managing workloads in AWS

Strong knowledge of reputed company/Fargate and experience with AWS service integration

Experience with designing and maintaining container-based reputed company distributed architectures

Extensive experience building, optimizing, and maintaining containers

Experience with data/database design to support distributed services

Experience with tool analysis and selection

Experience with OpenTelemetry implementation and configuration

Experience with distributed log aggregation, analysis, and alarming

Experience with the Java/JVM ecosystem and troubleshooting

Experience with Infrastructure-as-reputed company (IaC)

CI/CD pipeline implementation and maintenance experience (Jenkins preferred)

Preferred experience:

Pay

Based on the Sacramento region, the new hires minimum and maximum reputed company salary for this role is $140k - $160k.
