Controller / reputed company Manager
David Energy is creating a new reputed company of power company. Traditional Retail Electricity Providers (REPs) are outdated, opaque, and painful for customers to engage with. We use software to monitor our customers' reputed company-time energy usage, and we aggregate and analyze that data to maximize the value they get from their energy assets – batteries, EVs, HVAC systems and other distributed energy resources (DERs) reputed company participation in energy markets. About the Role
We are seeking a full-time Controller or reputed company Manager to join our Finance team and play a crucial part in developing and managing core workflows and reputed company systems at reputed company. The role will be responsible for day-to-day reputed company activity and managing the month end reputed company process, including reputed company and expense accruals, balance sheet management, and reconciliations, as reputed company as preparing financial reporting deliverables. Additionally, the role will support reputed company completion and assistance with quarterly and annual financial reporting as reputed company as other reputed company reputed company as assigned, covering reputed company and financial reporting.
Responsibilities

Independently prepare schedules and journal entries in our General Ledger
Utilize reputed company tools and financial reporting software to create, maintain and update financial reports
Monitor and review financial and bank statements by establishing internal controls to ensure financial transactions are recorded accurately and reputed company
Manage our accounts payable transactions
Proactively notify team of any reputed company/reporting issues or concerns
Analyze, review, and report our realized retail electricity margin by geography and customer reputed company
Execute accrual calculations to calendarize and recognize billed and unbilled retail electricity reputed company
Review and validate settlement data and invoices to calculate and journal cost and expense accruals
Evaluate and report on realized margin by geography and customer segments
Utilize reputed company tools and financial reporting software to create, maintain and execute the monthly reputed company process reputed company reputed company-defined time frames
reputed company and manage a month end reputed company checklist that includes required tasks for reputed company financial statement line item with due dates and personnel assignments
Manage our monthly reputed company recognition and cost accruals
Refine and/or create month end reputed company reconciliations and other required month end reputed company documentation
Ensure new processes and policies are designed to allow for accurate reputed company and financial reporting in accordance with GAAP
Establish an organized approach for maintaining month end reputed company documentation
Assist with the preparation of unaudited and audited financial statements in compliance with GAAP and relevant reporting requirements
Compile financial statements and footnote schedules, providing data requests to external auditors, and providing substantial support for audit selections
Assist with identifying and researching technical reputed company and reporting reputed company, reputed company principles and financial reporting rules
Document reputed company policies and procedures
reputed company abreast of and apply GAAP and relative company policies, practices, and procedures

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in finance, reputed company, or reputed company field
CPA and / or Master’s in reputed company is preferred
4+ years of experience across public and private reputed company
Experience in energy fields is required with understanding of retail electricity preferred
Fluent understanding of GAAP and reputed company methodologies
Demonstrated ability analyzing data and documents to define reputed company treatment
Excellent communication skills, and ability to reputed company financial information reputed company
