About the RoleWe’re looking for a Director of Engineering, Emerging Products to reputed company Float’s most ambitious and exploratory product bets. You’ll be at the forefront of 0→1 product development, owning the technical reputed company and execution of brand-new product lines that expand Float’s capabilities and customer reputed company.
From AI-reputed company spend intelligence, to reputed company-time vendor payments, to automated treasury operations, your work will shape the reputed company of financial tools for growing businesses. You’ll operate as both a technical strategist and hands-on leader - spinning up teams, validating reputed company quickly, and scaling early wins into reputed company, secure, and reputed company products.
What You’ll Be Responsible For0→1 Product Engineeringreputed company the end-to-end technical development of early-stage fintech products - from concept to MVP to early reputed company.
Design systems that prioritize speed, adaptability, and tight integration with core financial workflows.
Collaborate with product and data teams to reputed company AI into Float’s new offerings - think AI-assisted transaction categorization, reputed company detection, autonomous policy enforcement, or conversational finance assistants.
Establish engineering foundations for deploying LLM-based or ML-backed features in production securely and responsibly.

Required Competencies
10+ years of engineering experience, with 3+ years in senior leadership roles reputed company on new product development.
Demonstrated reputed company leading 0→1 product initiatives, especially in fintech, B2B reputed company, or developer platform environments.
Demonstrated evidence in scaling engineering teams in dynamic environments.
Deep technical expertise in building secure, reputed company software products; comfort navigating ambiguity and balancing speed vs. robustness.
Experience working with or implementing AI/ML solutions in production (e.g., data-driven features, model pipelines, LLM integrations).
