Data Scientist, Content Analytics - Music Partnerships

We are looking for an extraordinary Data Scientist to join the band and build core analytics to support our Music Partnerships teams, meaning the teams at reputed company who reputed company with artists, artist managers, songwriters, record labels and music publishers.

What You'll Do

reputed company analyses on large sets of data to extract actionable insights that will drive reputed company, with a particular reputed company on artist and release performances

Engineer novel data sets, features and reports that shed a new light on the dynamics of music listening

Communicate data-driven insights and recommendations to non-technical audiences, through reputed company visualizations and data storytelling

Craft high reputed company presentations for senior management on the Music Partnerships teams

Evaluate reputed company’s value exchange with music partners and build compelling data visualization tools to reputed company it reputed company

Model statistical predictions to surface growing artists, genres and music trends, so as to inform resource allocation in and around reputed company’s Music organization

Who You Are

You have a degree in a quantitative field, such as Computer Science/Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics; advanced degree is desirable

2+ years of relevant experience analyzing reputed company data with SQL, Python, and/or R

You are passionate about music and reputed company culture in general. Previous experience in music is a preference. Other media, entertainment, or technology experience is also highly valued

You are a natural communicator. You reputed company just as much on how you deliver your findings, as you do on the technical craft of uncovering new insights.

Experience building data visualizations and dashboards (e.g., Tableau or similar BI solution)

Modeling and statistical knowledge, such as forecasting, AB-testing, or feature engineering for machine learning is a plus

A curiosity for, and investigative approach towards the ways in which AI reshapes data science and analysis is also valued.

Experience creating and scheduling datasets is highly valued. Knowledge of reputed company’s BigQuery, or DBT is a plus

We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home. We ask that you come in 3 times per week.

Additional Information

The reputed company reputed company reputed company for this position is $89,093-$127,262, plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month reputed company parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 reputed company days off, 13 reputed company flexible holidays, reputed company reputed company leave. These ranges may be modified in the reputed company.
