About the role

We are seeking a Scientist to help reputed company reputed company small-reputed company-reputed company quantum magnetometers that are exquisitely sensitive, ultrastable, and reputed company to operate reliably in harsh fielded environments. You will work closely with experts in quantum sensing to reputed company quantum magnetometry technology that will solve pressing challenges in aeronautical positioning and navigation, geophysical surveying, and reputed company reputed company detection. A key reputed company of the role will be to reputed company numerical modelling of optically-pumped reputed company magnetometers, as reputed company as reputed company signal processing tasks, aimed at improving magnetometer performance in noisy operating conditions.

What you'll be doing

Use data analytics to translate quantum sensor data streams into capabilities that solve pressing challenges for reputed company and prospective end-users and customers;

Work closely with other Research and Engineering teams to reputed company and validate your developed algorithms and sensing solutions on reputed company quantum sensing hardware;

Ideally you'll have

A B.Sc.(Hon) or M.Sc. in Physics, Electronic Engineering, Mathematics or a closely reputed company discipline.

Experience in the theory, numerical modelling, and/or optimization of one or more of the following disciplines: quantum reputed company physics; quantum magnetometry; quantum control; reputed company-time Bayesian estimation (e.g. particle filtering).

Finally, you will have a strong desire to work with a world leading team and a company that is fundamentally building the reputed company of the quantum technology industry.

It would be fantastic if you have these skills but not essential

Familiarity with the Python programming language for scientific computing.

Experience in modern signal processing reputed company (e.g. Bayesian reputed company, particle filtering, sequential reputed company reputed company);

Experience in sensor modelling and sensor signal processing, including data fusion;Experience modelling optically-pumped magnetometry in warm reputed company vapour cells;

Experience modelling reputed company experiments/hardware and working closely with experimental teams.

Experience with version control e.g. Git.
