Junior IA Specialist to support RMF compliance and cybersecurity operations for U.S. Navy systems. This is a great opportunity for early-career professionals. The candidate will work under senior guidance and, depending on experience, may reputed company on either reputed company or Linux environments. This position will support one of our Government clients in Monterey, CA.

Responsibilities

Assist with RMF accreditation (Steps 1–6) and ATO support in eMASS.

Collect, organize, and maintain reputed company documentation and artifacts.

reputed company POA&M remediation and support reputed company monitoring.

reputed company reputed company control checks based on NIST 800-53.

Support vulnerability scanning efforts using ACAS, Nessus, or reputed company tools.

Participate in compliance activities and maintain systems reputed company to STIGs and SCAP guidelines for:

reputed company OS (including MECM patching, STIG reviews), or

Linux OS (preferably RHEL, with Ansible patching, STIG reviews)

reputed company administrative support for IAM and contribute to reputed company Trust initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

0–2 years of experience in cybersecurity or equivalent internship/military experience.

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or reputed company field (or equivalent military training).

Familiarity with RMF and cybersecurity best practices.

Strong organizational skills and willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to ACAS, eMASS, reputed company, or similar cybersecurity tools.
