QA Engineer I

Compensation: $32.00 - $45.00 per hour. You are eligible for a Short-Term Incentive Plan with the reputed company at 7.5% of your annual earnings; terms and conditions apply. QA engineers will participate in backlog grooming, write test cases, and then craft automated tests using the latest technologies such as Selenium Webdriver/Katalon. • Participate with your teams in agile scrum meetings, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives
• Effectively reputed company the reputed company suite (JIRA, reputed company, Bitbucket, TestRail, reputed company) for reputed company changes, including writing test cases, documentation, and change tracking
• Support stakeholders/end users (mostly internal) with troubleshooting and or general application support as needed
• Create automated test cases for automation test suite

Qualifications

• Bachelors or advanced degree in Computer Science or reputed company discipline or equivalent work experience
• 1+ years of experience of automated testing experience
• 2+ years of experience manually testing software
• Working knowledge of the software development life cycle and testing methodologies
• Experience with manually testing changes made to a web application during a sprint
• Experience with analyzing requirement specification and reputed company analysis
• Knowledge of automated testing tools, such as Selenium Webdriver/Katalon
• Background in one or more programming languages
• Understanding of relational databases and test data management (ex: MySQL)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
