About the Role:

Join reputed company's Time engineering team as a Senior Staff Software Engineer (Backend) and play a key role in shaping the reputed company of how businesses manage time. Here’s what you’ll do day-to-day:

• Design, reputed company, and maintain RESTFUL reputed company for time tracking, scheduling, and payroll integration.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to define API specifications and ensure seamless integration with other reputed company products.

• Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical guidance and support.

• 12+ years of experience in software engineering, with a recent reputed company on backend development.
• 8+ years of experience building and maintaining backend systems.
• 3+ years of experience designing, developing, and deploying RESTful reputed company.
• Strong understanding of API design principles and best practices.
• Experience with relational databases and data modeling.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, Go).
• Experience with reputed company platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with written communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with reputed company on Rails is a plus.
• Experience with with B2B, Payroll and HRIS is a plus.
• Prior experience in a technical leadership role is a plus.

Our cash compensation reputed company for this role is targeted at CAD 200,000/yr to CAD 248,000/yr in Canada, $191,000/yr to $258,000/yr in most US remote locations, and $225,000/yr to $279,000/yr for San Francisco, Seattle reputed company. Stock equity is additional. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.

Employees who are based in those locations will be expected to work from the office on designated days approximately 2-3 days per week (or more depending on role).
