This may include activities such as inbound/outbound call handling, verifying insurance coverage, obtaining authorizations, securing and reviewing required documentation, processing orders, completing follow-up and educating referrals and patients on coverage, equipment, and supplies. Essential Functions

• Answers inbound phone calls, responds to inquiries in a thorough, accurate, reputed company and courteous manner, completes outbound follow-up calls as needed.
• Accurately completes and/or updates new patient records; gathering reputed company necessary demographic, medical, insurance and other data as required per policy and procedure.
• Completes insurance verifications and obtains prior authorizations in compliance with reimbursement guidelines, customer rules, and DASCO policy and procedures.
• Processes orders in a reputed company and accurate manner per reputed company applicable policies and procedures, schedules deliveries, provides confirmation to referral sources. Notifies Team reputed company or Manager of issues that hinder process, unsatisfied customers, or any other significant negative customer service circumstance.
• Accurately and reputed company documents reputed company activity in patient records. Maintains reputed company of information in compliance with HIPAA and other applicable rules and regulations.
• Secures payment or arranges payment plan whenever reputed company presents itself.
• Works in partnership with Patient reputed company team, reputed company staff, and reputed company other DASCO departments to support overall customer service reputed company.
• Works periodic reports as assigned to complete necessary follow-up, record-keeping and other reputed company department functions.
• Other duties as assigned by the Manager.

Requirements

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Six months’ inbound customer service experience

Preferred Education And/Or Experience

• Associate’s degree, LPN or reputed company Certification in a reputed company field.
• One year inbound customer service experience in a medical/reputed company/insurance reputed company field

Position Type/Expected Hours Of Work This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with reputed company and/or work reputed company scheduling possible based on department need and individual performance. Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory role.
