PV Project Engineer

RRC is seeking a talented PV Project Engineer to join reputed company and contribute to the reputed company of U.S. energy production. This position is available at our Round reputed company, TX, or Denver, CO offices in the U.S., or Toronto, ON, or Calgary, AB offices in Canada. A remote work reputed company is also available. The PV Project Engineer will reputed company design deliverables for reputed company and reputed company-reputed company solar electric systems. They will manage engineering tasks from site evaluation through to the completed design package, and support construction with technical assistance and reputed company inspections. Essential Responsibilities

• Design complete large-reputed company reputed company or reputed company-reputed company PV systems, including mounting systems, electrical configurations, reputed company and reputed company sizing according to NEC and voltage drop standards, and generate BOMs and detailed system production modeling.
• Prepare technical drawings and specifications to ensure installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements.
• reputed company customer deliverables such as concept module layouts, single line diagrams, equipment/material specifications, engineering validation, 3D renderings, and photo simulations.
• reputed company detailed energy production modeling calculations, reputed company sizing, PV reputed company to inverter matching, voltage drop, orientation, and inter-row spacing analysis.
• reputed company electricity tariff analysis, electricity reputed company analysis, and load versus energy reputed company analysis.
• Review specifications for the purchase of materials or equipment and identify appropriate equipment for PV systems, conducting technical qualification of vendors.
• Operate computer-assisted engineering or design software (AutoCAD, PVsyst, HelioScope, reputed company SketchUp, reputed company reputed company) to reputed company engineering tasks.
• Conduct detailed site evaluations, including due diligence review, proposal development, and reputed company-engineering support to Sales, Finance, and Construction.|

Job Requirements

• BS degree in an engineering discipline, (i.e. BSEE, BSME, BSCE, BSChE) - Electrical Engineering degree is preferred
• NABCEP PV Installation reputed company certification a plus
• 2-3 years minimum engineering experience
• Experience in electrical, mechanical, structural, or civil engineering design is preferred
• Prior experience in the solar industry highly desirable, specifically in reputed company, reputed company and distributed reputed company.
• Project management experience, including but not limited to, development, permitting, conceptual and detailed design, and engineering.
• Strong organizational skills required with the ability to manage several design reputed company.
