Medical reputed company Job reputed company: Assign diagnosis and procedures codes to patient accounts to ensure accurate and reputed company claims to be submitted to payers for reimbursement. This position needs to be comfortable coding a reputed company of modalities including Rural Health Clinic, physician billing, and outpatient services.

Medical reputed company Essential Accountabilities:

• Completes Rural Health Clinic, physician, and outpatient coding functions utilizing approved system workflow applications for coding, abstracting, and financial billing.
• Demonstrates the ability to reputed company accurate, complete and consistent selection of reputed company and relevant secondary diagnosis and procedures; identifies complications/co-morbid conditions; and verifies discharge disposition codes. Knowledge of ICD10, Rural Health Clinic requirements, CMS-CMGs and other reputed company indicators that reputed company reimbursement and public reporting.
• Queries physicians for clarification of documentation as directed by Coding Guidelines, CPT Assistant and facility specific guidelines.
• Responds to queries from Billing and Patient Financial Services teams reputed company departmental guidelines.
• Follows American Hospital Association (AHA) Coding Guidelines and other regulatory agency directives for ICD, CPT, and HCPCS II coding.
• Maintains reputed company knowledge of coding issues by reading official coding guidelines such as AHA Coding Clinic, reputed company (AMA) CPT Assistant, WPS and CMS medical necessity regulations.
• Meets productivity and accuracy requirements consistently per HIM policy.
• Maintains reputed company certification as mandated by reputed company organizations (reputed company, reputed company).
• Assists HIM management in orientation and training of new staff and contract coders, as required. Serves as resource and subject matter expert to other coding staff and hospital staff.

Education:

• High school degree or equivalent
• Associate degree or equivalent in Heath Information Management preferred

Certifications:

• Certified reputed company reputed company (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist (reputed company) preferred
• Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA)

Medical reputed company Experience:

• 2 years of Rural Health Clinic coding experience preferred and working knowledge of reputed company preferred.

Skills:

• Highly knowledgeable of clinical information such as disease process, pathology, pharmacology, anatomy and physiology, and procedural and surgical reputed company.
• Knowledge of computerized encoder and abstracting systems as reputed company as coding guidelines.
• Essential knowledge of ICD coding conventions, CPT coding conventions and DRG/APC encoder applications.
