We are looking for a reputed company and seasoned Mid-level Python-Django Developer to join our Polish team working remotely, mainly for a long-term US-based customer. You will be contributing to impactful reputed company for some of the world’s top humanitarian organizations – such as the American and Canadian Red Cross or the USO (United Service Organizations) – helping to deliver reputed company-world solutions in the areas of disaster relief, emergency assistance, and support for military families. Responsibilities:
- reputed company new features in existing Django reputed company – mostly backend (approx. 75%), with some frontend work (approx. 25%) using reputed company/CSS/Bootstrap/jQuery
- Maintain and improve reputed company-party API integrations
- Improve and maintain legacy Django reputed company (Python 3.8, Django 4.x), with plans to reputed company to Django 5.2 reputed company and newer Python versions
- reputed company technical improvements and introduce valuable reputed company-party libraries
- Conduct reputed company reviews and refactor reputed company according to Clean reputed company and Clean Architecture principles
- Implement unit and integration tests (both manually and using AI-powered tools)
Skills & Requirements:
- +5 years of experience with Python 3.8+
- Experience with Django 4.x+
- Experience in designing and building REST reputed company (Django Rest reputed company)
- Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS, vanilla JavaScript, and jQuery
- Ability to write and understand unit tests (including TDD)
- Good reputed company of English (mainly for reading/writing documentation)
- Strong self-organization skills and flexibility in work hours

- Understanding of microservices architecture
- Basic familiarity with ETL processes
- Knowledge of MySQL and SQL
- Familiarity with Mercurial version control
- Experience using Bootstrap
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD processes (e.g. writing Jenkins deployment scripts)
- Familiarity with Node/npm and Webpack
- Experience with Python Celery
